First, you should pay attention to the brand o the grease you use. Inside the jaw crusher, movable jaw plate and fixed jaw plate is the main parts to crush stones, which often operate. Therefore, they should be lubricated regularly, or these parts will be worn out. You must make sure that you lubricate with grease lubricants. Some operator add some thin oil to the grease lubricants to get the better lubricating results avoiding grease solidification which often appear in the winter.
Second, you should pay attention to the amount of the grease lubricants you would like to use. When you insert superfluous grease lubricants, it will result in waste and affect the power transmission which, to some extend, lower the productivity. With too little grease lubricants, it will not reach anticipated lubricating effects. The ideal amount would be one third of the capacity.
Last, the temperature is another important point. The temperature of the scavenge oil must be noticed during jaw crusher thin oil system is in operation, which can not be over 60℃. You control the temperature by regulating the rate of oil flow and or cooling it with water to ensure normal production.
